Tinta, the pearl coating, in seven colours
Tinta is Fontea's pearl coating: a thin film carrying metallic pigments, laid over the stainless steel body. It is offered as seven separate colours, and a tap is finished in one of them. There is no Tinta colour and a PVD finish on the same fitting; the two families of finish are alternatives you choose between.
Every Fontea collection is available in the Tinta palette, so a single colour can be specified across mixers, spouts, shower sets and the matching accessories. The palette runs from the near-neutral Pearl black and Golden yellow through Light rose and Calm green to the more assertive Vivid orange, Sweet blue and Rich brown.
Each colour below is a distinct finish in its own right, selected by its code at order. They are an alternative to the steel and PVD finishes on the facing page, never a second layer over them.

The other way to finish a Fontea tap
Alongside the Tinta palette, Fontea finishes the same stainless steel bodies in brushed or gloss steel and in PVD. Brushed and gloss are the metal itself; Gold, Black and Copper PVD are deposited coatings that bond to the surface. Deep grey is a PVD finish in the same family as Gold.
These are alternatives to a Tinta colour. A tap specified in Tinta Golden yellow is not also specified in PVD Gold.
