AISI 316L stainless steel taps & fittings

AISI 316L is the marine grade of stainless steel: the addition of molybdenum and its low carbon content give it markedly better resistance to pitting and corrosion than standard steel, especially against chlorides in coastal air, salt and hard water. It is the alloy specified for boat fittings and seafront railings.
