Freestanding Shower Column with Diverter and Handheld

This is the freestanding column for a bathroom where one shower has to do two jobs. It stands on the tray with its own mixer, carries a 200 mm head overhead and adds a diverter so the water can be switched down to a hand shower on a flexible hose instead. Overhead for the standing rinse, handheld for washing a child, a guest or a hard to reach back. The body is AISI 316L, the molybdenum-bearing grade, which is why it holds up in a hotel bathroom.

Key features

• Diverter switches between the overhead head and the hand shower
• Hand shower and flexible hose included, not ordered separately
• 200 mm overhead head for the standing rinse
• Floor standing, so it suits a glass screen with no wall to fix to

Specification and installation

The riser is fixed to the floor within the tray, the mixer sits at working height and the hand shower hangs on the column so the hose falls without a kink. Check the ceiling height before the riser is cut, because the head needs clearance above a standing bather. The simpler column with a mixer and head only is the right choice where a handheld is not wanted. Five finishes are offered, from brushed stainless steel to gold PVD.
