Fontea: Stainless Steel Taps in Seven Colours and Four Finishes
The stocked range runs to 360 products in AISI 316L stainless steel, across taps, showers, bathroom accessories, kitchen mixers, wellness and technical fittings. AISI 316L is the grade on 274 of them, with the balance in AISI 304.
Every component of every product is stainless steel, including the parts concealed inside the wall. That is the whole argument: steel because it resists corrosion, because it is hygienic and safe, because it is 100% recyclable, and because a finish bonded to solid metal cannot chip or wear through the way a plated shell can.
Across the range sit four metal finishes and the Tinta palette, a thin film coating with metallic pigments that adds seven pearlescent ceramic colours to the range.

Seven pearly colours, mixed and matched
Pick your colour
Tinta is a palette of seven pearlescent ceramic shades, available on every Fontea tap collection: vivid orange, sweet blue, pearl black, rich brown, light rose, calm green and golden yellow. The seven nuances combine easily with each other, or with the more classic brushed steel finish, for as many design outcomes as a project needs.
Tinta is a thin film coating with metallic pigments, chosen to meet the tight tolerances Fontea taps work to, and it gives the surface exceptional hardness with real scratch and corrosion resistance. Colour is available across the stocked range: deep grey, inox lucido, inox spazzolato, oro and Tinta each run to hundreds of products.
Four finishes in solid stainless steel
Colour that is part of the metal
Four finishes run across the Fontea range: brushed inox, gloss inox, gold PVD and deep grey PVD. Gold and deep grey are physical vapour deposition coatings, and brushed and gloss inox are the two treatments of the steel itself.
Every item in the Remo collection is also available in the PVD deep grey and PVD gold finishes, and Alveo is offered in polished and brushed steel as well as both PVD finishes.
Finish availability is published per product rather than per brand, so the exact grade and finish on a given reference is on that product's own page alongside its dimensioned drawing.
Tinta is a separate axis. A product takes a metal finish or a Tinta colour, not both: pick brushed, gloss, gold PVD or deep grey PVD for the metal, or one of the seven Tinta pearl colours for the coating.
Stainless steel in every component
One alloy, every component
Steel is used because it resists corrosion, because it is hygienic and safe, and because it is 100% recyclable. Fontea is steel in every component and every part of the product, even the ones intended to be mounted inside the wall.
AISI 316L is the cornerstone of every project, and the grade behind the kitchen and bathroom collections, ranging from complements to accessories, all strictly made of stainless steel. In the stocked range it is the grade on 274 of the 360 products; the balance is AISI 304.
Custom projects, from sketch to production
Built around the project
Made-to-measure work starts in direct dialogue with the designer and is carried through every stage of development, drawing on the production flexibility of a range that already covers complements, accessories and made-to-measure sizes.
The result is a specification that holds together: the same alloy, the same finish palette and the same Tinta colours carried from the basin through to the shower.
Bathroom taps, showers and fillers
One spec for the whole bathroom
Fontea Bathroom spans deck mounted and wall mounted basin mixers, concealed shower sets, wall mounted spouts, freestanding bath fillers and hand showers with their arms and complements, all on the same solid steel construction and the same finish palette, so a single specification covers every fitting in the room.
Slancio runs a slim spout, a straight aerator and a constant inclination of line. Accordo treats temperature and flow like the volume and tone of a melody. Limpido strips the range back to stainless steel in its purity. Sospeso replaces the traditional lever with a deep scratch that lightens the form. Portata plays with generous proportions and new dimensional ratios.
Kitchen mixers for daily use
Steel where the work happens
Limpido is characterised by formal cleanliness, free of additional elements: stainless steel in its purity and essential beauty. Accordo pairs a slim spout with a straight aerator and a constant inclination of line, in a collection where none of the workmanship detail on the stainless steel is missing.
Terme, for outdoor and wellness spaces
Stainless steel that holds up outside
The Terme solutions are designed for domestic interiors, but also for outdoor spaces and wellness settings, where stainless steel resists external agents perfectly. The collection covers external shower mixers, thermostatic sets and hand showers with wall supports and flexible hoses.
Accessories that complete the room
Specified together with the fittings
Hook, rail, shelf, holder and dispenser complements in the same AISI 316L stainless steel, so an accessory matches the tap beside it instead of being a separate finish decision. Wall mounted and deck mounted versions cover the basin zone, the shower zone and the WC.
Technical accessories cover the working parts: hand showers and their wall supports, water inlets, stopcocks and isolating valves, and deck, wall and floor mounted spouts.
