Tubico — Italian Stainless Steel Taps for Kitchens & Bathrooms
Tubico designs and manufactures stainless steel taps, showers and bathroom accessories on Italy's Adriatic coast, for architects and specifiers who want Italian design without the compromises of plated brass. Every mixer is solid stainless steel through and through — never a chrome-plated shell — so the finish cannot chip, tarnish or wear thin.
The range spans marine-grade AISI 316L on the flagship collections and AISI 304 on the eco-focused kitchen lines, finished in Brushed steel, Black PVD, Gold PVD or Copper PVD. 107 Tubico products in stock across taps, showers and accessories, from £88 trade.
Stock runs across five categories — 31 shower and bath products, 25 technical fittings, 21 taps, 20 bathroom accessories and 10 kitchen mixers — in 291 priced variants topping out at £3,211 for a complete thermostatic shower system.
Two designers, one Italian workshop
Paolo Di Turi & Francesco Polignano
Tubico was founded in Polignano a Mare by designers Paolo Di Turi and Francesco Polignano, who set out to bring an Italian design sensibility to an unglamorous category: the tap.
Every mixer is engineered in-house and coloured by PVD — the same vapour-deposition process developed for the aerospace industry — so the finish is bonded to the metal, not sprayed onto it. The studio builds every product around three pillars: beauty, resistance and sustainability.
Seven collections come out of that one workshop — Volga, Colorado, Nilo, River, Loira, Tevere and Flows — and they share a body, a steel and a finish palette, so pieces from different ranges still specify as one bathroom.
Designed for architects and specifiers
A materials-first mixer range
Every Tubico finish is developed to sit alongside natural stone, ceramic and timber — the materials architects actually specify. PVD Black, Gold and Copper read as solid metal against terrazzo and marble, while brushed steel keeps a project neutral without falling back on chrome.
Specifications, dimensioned drawings and datasheets sit on every product page, so a Tubico mixer drops straight into a schedule alongside AISI 316L worktops and 304-grade sinks.
Grades are published per product, not per brand: 56 of the 107 products are marine-grade AISI 316L, 48 are AISI 304 and 2 are 304L. Every product page carries its own grade, its dimensioned drawing and its datasheet, so a Tubico line drops into a schedule without a call to the supplier.
An entire palette in solid stainless steel
Colour that's part of the metal
Colour on a Tubico tap is not a coating: PVD bonds pigment to the stainless steel itself, so Brushed, Black, Gold and Copper finishes wear like the metal underneath, not a plated surface that thins with every clean. Beyond the four core finishes, Tubico's accessory ranges run to a further eight — Anthracite, Coal, Desert, Olive tree, Pearl, Powder, Rock and Snow — for a project that wants one supplier across taps, hooks and holders.
Every finish is worked in AISI 316L, 304 or 304L stainless steel — see exactly which grade sits under which colour on the materials & finishes hub.
Across the range Brushed steel covers 104 products, Black PVD 89, Gold PVD 89 and Copper PVD 88 — so a finish chosen for a basin mixer is almost always available on the shower set, the bath filler and the accessories that go with it.
Bathroom taps, showers and fillers
One spec for the whole bathroom
Tubico's bathroom range covers basin mixers, wall-mounted sets, freestanding bath fillers and shower systems, all sharing the same solid-steel construction and PVD finish palette so a single spec covers every fitting in the room.
Every mixer ships with a 2-year manufacturer warranty.
31 shower and bath products and 20 bathroom accessories are stocked, from £92 for an accessory to £3,211 for a complete thermostatic shower system, all in the same four PVD finishes.
Kitchen mixers built for daily use
Built for the working kitchen
Tubico's kitchen mixers pair a solid stainless steel body with a flexible pull-out or pull-down spout in matching PVD, so the tap works as hard as the rest of the kitchen without a plated finish to wear through at the pull-out collar.
Ten kitchen mixers are stocked, from £143 trade, most of them on the eco-focused AISI 304 body with a pull-out or pull-down spout in matching PVD.
One tap body, every finish
Every Tubico tap, one brand page
Basin mixers, tall vessel mixers, wall-mounted sets — Tubico's tap range runs across four core PVD finishes plus brushed steel, all built on the same solid stainless steel body.
21 tap products carry 76 priced variants from £201 to £2,070 trade — basin mixers, tall vessel mixers and wall-mounted sets, each one the same solid steel body in a different finish rather than a different product.
