A deck mounted basin mixer takes its water through a single hole in the worktop, which makes it the fitting for a solid surface or stone vanity that wants one neat opening behind the bowl. This one is supplied without a waste, a deliberate choice rather than an omission: a vessel basin and an inset bowl each need a different waste, so the drain is specified with the basin and the tap on its own. Cast in AISI 316L stainless steel, the marine grade, its molybdenum content stands up to the chloride in tap water and in coastal air, which is why it sits well above a basin in daily use.
It fixes through the worktop over its single hole, sealed against the surface and tightened from below, so the top material and thickness must be settled at the template stage and the stopcocks valves fitted before the top is bonded down. Confirm the tail clears the trap once the mixer is in place. Available in brushed stainless steel, deep grey, Tinta and gold PVD.
