It is machined in AISI 304 stainless steel rather than cast or plated, which matters on an arm because it is the one component that carries the full weight of the head at a fixed angle for years without sagging or corroding at the wall fixing. The arm wall-mounts on a threaded connection and takes any of Tubico's round shower heads at the far end, so it is typically specified alongside a head chosen separately rather than sold as a fixed set. At 300mm it suits a standard shower enclosure; where more clearance from the wall is needed, Tubico's 400mm arm covers the longer reach instead.
