Concealing the valve body behind tiling is the point of a recessed mixer: only a slim trim plate shows in the finished wall, with the temperature and flow control and all three G1/2in connections sitting inside a chased recess. Tubico builds this one in 316L stainless steel rather than the chrome-plated brass most recessed valves use, so the parts left permanently inside a wet wall cavity will not corrode if condensation ever reaches them. The outlet feeds upward, direct to an overhead shower arm.
Fitting requires a chased recess deep enough for the valve body and its three G1/2in connections, finished flush with a trim plate around 65mm across; the visible face reduces to roughly 45mm at the control itself. Because the outlet exits upward, first-fix pipework should run to the top of the recess rather than out to a spout. Specify Brushed for a plain finish or one of three PVD colours to match the Volga range's exposed taps.
