A mixer and a spout both on the deck is the arrangement for a basin not served from a wall: the whole installation is on the rim, so nothing is chased and the pipework drops straight into the vanity below. That makes it the quicker install where the wall carries services for something else, or where a run of basins is fitted off a single floor duct. The two pieces arrive as one order, matched in finish and spacing, which is what keeps a row of basins looking like a row. The set is AISI 316L stainless steel.
Both pieces are drilled through the deck, so the hole positions, the deck thickness and the clearance under the spout are set out before the ceramic is installed. The mixer takes the hot and cold from below, leaving the deck free for the waste. Brushed stainless steel, polished stainless steel, deep grey, gold PVD and Tinta are offered. No cut-out, spacing or thread is recorded, so confirm against the bowl.
