A deck-mounted mixer is installed where the pipework already comes up through the floor or a counter, and this one covers that case with a 316L stainless steel body and a single-lever control. Installers like it because it is a familiar, serviceable fitting: it sits on the surface rather than in the wall, so a cartridge change is a two-minute job instead of a destructive one. The AISI 316L grade is the workhorse stainless for wet rooms, resisting both the constant damp of a bathroom and the chloride load of a poolside or coastal install.
Because it mounts on the surface, the installer works from the deck or floor rather than chasing a wall cavity, and the whole fitting can be reached later without breaking tiles. The 316L stainless steel body suits bathrooms, shower rooms and poolside areas where corrosion would quickly spoil a plated fitting. It is offered in brushed stainless steel, polished stainless steel, deep grey, gold PVD and Tinta, and is completed by a spout and any diverter from the same fitting family.
