Not every basin tap runs hot and cold. A single supply wall mounted faucet is the fitting for a bowl fed by one pipe, whether that is a powder room or a run where only one service reaches the position. The body is concealed in the wall, so the tile face stays continuous and only the outlet shows. The visible parts are AISI 316L stainless steel, the molybdenum-bearing grade that resists chloride, which is why it suits coastal and hotel work where the surface is cleaned hard and often.
The body is fitted into the wall before it is tiled, and the trim and outlet go on to the finished face, so the position and the pipe route are set out at first fix. Where a temperature is needed it is handled by a separate valve. Order it in brushed stainless steel, polished stainless steel, deep grey, gold PVD or Tinta. No projection or thread is recorded, so confirm the outlet reach against the bowl before the wall is closed.
