Set into the wall behind the finished tiling, this single-lever mixer keeps only its trim visible in the shower, feeding the outlet from a concealed body rather than an exposed valve on show. The trim itself is 40mm-diameter AISI 316L stainless steel, Tubico's marine-grade alloy, chosen here because a concealed fitting is harder to service if corrosion sets in behind the wall. A brass concealed valve body is included, so the installer is not sourcing a separate rough-in kit.
The valve recesses into the wall ahead of tiling, with the brass body plumbed in on a G1/2” connection and the trim fitted afterwards; the outlet sits at the top of the fixed body. Because the working parts are sealed behind the wall, specify the trim finish, brushed or one of three PVD tones, to match the room's other exposed fittings, since it is the only part anyone will actually see day to day.
