316L stainless steel, the molybdenum-bearing marine grade, is the material argument for a fixed shower head living in a wet room or en-suite under daily use: it resists the chloride attack that plated brass eventually pits under. This 300mm round head ships with anti-limescale nozzles that clear by hand, an inspectable body, and a G1/2in ball-joint connection that lets the installer angle the spray after the arm is already fixed.
The head connects on a G1/2in ball joint, fed from a fixed shower arm or a concealed valve outlet; the ball joint takes up the final few degrees of angle so the arm itself does not need to be perfectly plumbed. At 300mm it suits a shower area large enough to stand under the full spray without brushing the enclosure glass. Available in Brushed steel and three PVD finishes to match whichever of Loira, Tevere or Volga the rest of the room is specified in.
