Thermostatic shower mixer in stainless steel

A thermostatic valve holds water temperature steady when someone elsewhere in the building runs a tap or flushes, which matters in hotels and multi-bathroom houses more than in a single-occupant flat. This recessed mixer from the Nilo collection is built in AISI 304 stainless steel with two round outlets, a separate handle for temperature and a separate handle for flow, so a guest sets the temperature once and simply turns the second handle on and off afterwards.

Specification and installation

The valve is designed for recessed (built-in) installation with 1/2 inch connections, so the concealed body sits inside the wall and only the two handles and outlets are visible once tiled in. Because it is a recessed design, it suits new-build and full refurbishment work where the wall can be opened, rather than a like-for-like exposed swap.
