A 200 mm vertical arm is the drop that puts a rain head at a usable height. Run it down from a soffit or slab and the spray falls from roughly standing head height rather than from the plaster, which is the difference between a shower and a ceiling fitting. The arm is AISI 316L stainless steel: molybdenum-bearing, chloride resistant, and specified wherever a bathroom runs hot, wet and unsupervised.
Measure the finished ceiling and the intended spray height before ordering: the drop decides whether the head clears a tall bather and whether the ceiling penetration can be tiled. The arm takes a rain head beneath and a wall outlet or elbow above, and the two can be finished in the same or a contrasting finish. Thread, plate detail and projection are not published for this reference, so work from the drawing.
