A diverter decides where the water goes, and this one sends it two ways from a single concealed plate: hand shower to one outlet, fixed head or spout to the other. Because the mechanism is buried in the wall, only the handle and trim remain once the room is finished, which is what lets a shower wall stay visually quiet. The visible control is AISI 316L stainless steel, the grade that will not corrode under the constant damp of an enclosure or pit in the chloride-heavy air of a coastal site.
The valve body is set into the wall at first fix and the trim fitted after tiling, so the finished face is never opened again. The stainless steel handle is the only part a user touches, so it is machined from 316L to survive a permanently wet enclosure. It is supplied in brushed stainless steel, polished stainless steel, deep grey, gold PVD and Tinta, and is used with the concealed mixer and wall spout from the same family to complete a two-outlet shower.
