Where the supply is built into a tiled wall, this mixer is the only part of it the room ever sees: a control at the wall that sets the temperature and turns the water on, while everything else stays behind the tile. It suits a bath or shower that has to read as a clean plane of wall, with the spout and control on one line and the rim left clear. The body and trim are AISI 316L stainless steel, the grade chosen where salt-laden air would mark anything plated. It supplies a wall mounted spout of the matching finish.
The mixer is installed and pressure tested behind the wall before it is tiled, and the trim is fixed to the finished face afterwards, so the position and the pipe runs are settled at first fix. Set the control at a height a standing user can work, and align it with the spout, which should be ordered in the same finish. Brushed stainless steel, polished stainless steel, deep grey, gold PVD and Tinta are offered. No body code or thread is recorded.
