A basin mixer with an extension sits further forward over the bowl than a standard one, which is what a shallow basin or a tight tap deck needs. The extension carries the outlet out past the rim, so the stream lands in the bowl instead of running down the back of it. This mixer is deck mounted, so it fixes through the basin rim and leaves the wall clear, and it is supplied without a drain, so the waste is specified to suit the bowl. The body is AISI 316L stainless steel, a grade that stands up to chloride and daily cleaning.
It mounts through the basin deck, so check the deck space and hole positions before ordering, and fit the mixer before the bowl is set. The reach is longer than a standard mixer, so confirm it clears the bowl rather than overshooting. Order the drain separately to match the basin. It is offered in brushed stainless steel, polished stainless steel, deep grey, gold PVD and Tinta. No thread is recorded, so confirm it against the basin.
