Where a bath stands away from any wall, the controls have to come off the bath itself. This deck-mounted set puts the mixer and the spout on the tub deck, so a freestanding bath in a large hotel bathroom or residential suite can have its own filler without chasing pipework into a wall behind it. The set is AISI 316L stainless steel, the grade that tolerates the splashing of a bath filled daily and the chloride in poolside and coastal air.
Both fittings are drilled through the bath deck and sealed, so the installer works on the tub itself rather than in a wall, which is what allows the bath to sit anywhere in the room. The 316L stainless steel body is chosen for a bath filled and emptied every day in hospitality use, holding its surface where a plated fitting would dull. The set is offered in brushed stainless steel, polished stainless steel, deep grey, gold PVD and Tinta, and pairs with a matching deck-mounted bath spout where a separate filler is wanted.
