The steel matters as much as the fitting: AISI 316L stainless steel is the molybdenum-bearing grade that resists chloride and standing moisture, so a support sitting within reach of running water will not pit the way ordinary steel would. It mounts through the deck of the bath or the shower base rather than the wall, which is how a walk in shower or a bath with no tiled back wall is usually fitted, and it belongs to the same stainless range as the mixers and valves.
It fixes through the bath or shower base and stands the holder vertically, so the installer sets one position on the deck and the hose hangs from there. Specify it in brushed stainless steel, polished stainless steel, deep grey, gold PVD or Tinta so it lines up with the shower controls and the tapware already chosen for the room.
