A two way diverter is a small plate on the wall that decides, with one movement, whether the water leaves a spout or a hand shower. Pairing it with the mixer means the whole control end of a shower is one line on the schedule, and the two parts arrive in the same finish, so nothing on the wall reads as a repair. It is exposed and wall mounted, fixed to the finished tile with the supplies behind it, and the outlet it does not serve can be added later without touching the mixer. Both pieces are AISI 316L stainless steel, the marine grade, whose molybdenum content resists the chloride in tap water and in coastal air.
Fitted to the finished tile over chased supplies, the mixer and the diverter are set at heights within the user's reach and aligned on the same wall line, with the outlets they serve planned at the rough-in. Offered in brushed stainless steel, deep grey, Tinta and gold PVD.
