A shower standing clear of the wall has one job: it cannot hide a leaking joint behind tiling. Everything sits in the open on the floor, reachable for maintenance, and the column reads as one object in the room. This one carries a 200 mm rainfall head over its own floor standing mixer, so nothing is chased into the wall. The body is AISI 316L stainless steel, the grade that shrugs off salt spray and constant wetting, which matters in a coastal villa, a spa or a hotel suite.
Because the column stands on the slab, position it and run the supply before the floor finish, then check it for level and plumb before fixing. The head is the piece you see, so hold the same finish across the column and anything added to it later. Where a second outlet is wanted, the longer column in this family adds a diverter and hand shower on the same base.
