Half Inch Isolation Cock for Supply Pipe

Specifying an isolation cock for a half inch run is a small decision with a long tail: it is what the maintenance team reaches for two years later. This one is cast in AISI 316 stainless steel and takes a half inch flexible inlet, giving a basin or a concealed cistern a shut off point of its own. The molybdenum-bearing grade keeps the thread and the seat sound in the conditions a valve actually lives in, which is a wet duct with nobody looking at it.

Specification and installation

Sits inline on the supply wherever the installer can still get a spanner to it, normally behind an access panel in a ducted bathroom or under a basin that lifts out. All five finishes come off one body, so an installer carries a single fitting through the project whatever colour the specifier chose. Thread length, hose length and handle orientation are not published, so check them against the pipework run before ordering.
