On a wet wall, two separate fittings for one handset means two holes to seal and two finishes to keep matched. This piece removes that: the hose inlet and the handset bracket are cast as one body and fixed once, which shortens the install and leaves a single plate to clean around. The steel is AISI 316L, the grade with molybdenum in it, so chloride laden air and daily splashing are less of a problem than they are for a plated fitting, in coastal rooms and poolside suites alike.
Set the inlet at the height you want the handset to sit, run the hose down from it and you have a shower wall that comes together from one supplier. It is the item to list on a schedule alongside a hand shower and a concealed shower set. Five finishes are available, brushed stainless steel through to gold PVD.
