A diverter is a small part doing a disproportionate amount of work. Without one, a bath and a shower sharing a mixer need two valves and a crowded wall. With one, a single control throws the flow to whichever outlet is wanted. This two way wall mounted diverter is cast in AISI 316L stainless steel, so the plate a guest touches every day is solid metal and the same finish as the mixer beside it.
It is fitted between the mixer and the two outlets, wall mounted at a height that can be reached without leaning over a bath. Fit it at first fix with the pipework, because the position of the plate decides where the pipe has to run. Where a handset is one of the two outlets, a hose and support can be hung from the same wall, and a whole bath and shower wall can then be specified on one order.
