A floor standing basin mixer column is a decision about how a room is plumbed. Instead of drilling a tap hole in the basin and chasing pipes into a wall, the supply, the control and the outlet stand in one upright body on the floor beside the bowl. The basin is then placed around it, whatever its material, and the space underneath is left open for a screen or a bench. It suits a washroom where a stone or solid surface bowl must not be drilled. The column is AISI 316L stainless steel.
It fixes through the finished floor, so the column position, the floor build up and the route of the hot and cold are settled before tiling. The basin is then set around it, and the reach checked so the water lands inside the bowl. Brushed stainless steel, polished stainless steel, deep grey, gold PVD and Tinta are offered. No height or reach is recorded, so confirm both.
