Fill the bath and rinse at the same place, from the wall. This set combines a mixer for temperature and flow, a two way diverter so a hand shower can be fed from the same valve, and a spout that does the filling. The two way diverter is what separates it from a simpler filler: one control runs the tub, the other serves the handset. Specify it where a bath has to work for two people. Recess the mixer, diverter and spout into the wall before tiling, positioning the spout so water falls into the tub and the diverter sits within reach from outside.
