Single lever shower mixer for exposed fitting in AISI 304 stainless steel

Not every shower needs a sliding rail: where the head is fixed or supplied separately, this exposed single lever mixer from the Nilo range is sold without one, keeping the wall fitting to just the mixer body and its outlet. It is built in AISI 304 stainless steel, the standard corrosion-resistant grade for a fitting that sees daily water and cleaning-product contact, and it suits both new bathrooms and refits where an exposed valve avoids opening the wall.

Specification and installation

Wall unions sit 150mm apart on G1/2 inch threads, the standard spacing for an exposed shower valve, and the outlet arm reaches up to 242mm from the wall, giving clearance for a shower head mounted well clear of the tiled surface. Because no rail is included, the specifier pairs it with a separately chosen fixed shower head or wall bracket, which is useful where a project has already settled that fitting. It is offered brushed, or in PVD copper, black and gold, to match other Nilo pieces in the room.
