A rainfall head is chosen for the feel of the water rather than for its force, and this one is a 200mm diameter head carried out from the wall on a horizontal arm 350mm long. The arm puts the head over the user rather than back against the tile, so the spray falls where the person stands, and the installer sets its height to suit them. The head and arm are AISI 316L stainless steel, the marine grade, whose molybdenum content resists the chloride in tap water and coastal air, which is why it is specified for a spa, a hotel bathroom and a coastal house alike.
Wall mounted and exposed, the arm is fixed to the finished tile with the supply chased behind it, and the head height is set to suit the user standing clear of the wall. It is fed from a wall mixer and can be paired with a hand shower on a diverter. Available in brushed stainless steel, deep grey, Tinta and gold PVD.
