400 mm Ceiling Mounted Vertical Shower Arm

A 400 mm drop is a long ceiling arm, and it earns its length in a tall wet room: hung from a soffit, it lowers a rain head from above the ceiling zone to a height where the spray falls on the user instead of on their shoulders. The arm is AISI 316L stainless steel, the molybdenum-bearing grade, specified for a permanently wet fitting in a room that will never be dried between uses.

Specification and installation

Measure the finished ceiling to the required spray height, then subtract the head to fix the arm length; on a high ceiling, allow the drop to be trimmed or boxed rather than guessed at. Seal the ceiling penetration properly and finish the arm in brushed stainless steel, polished stainless steel, deep grey, gold PVD or Tinta to match the head.
