This is the long ceiling drop, finished with a square ceiling plate to suit a wet room where the wall is fully tiled and the overhead fittings are the only place left for geometry. Hung from the soffit, it brings a 400 mm rain head down into the room and clear of the spray path, with the plate grouted and sealed into the ceiling so the joint disappears. The body is AISI 316L stainless steel, the grade chosen for a fitting that is never wiped down.
Take the finished ceiling level, decide the spray height, and allow for the head below the arm before the ceiling is tiled. Fix the plate to sound structure rather than to the plasterboard, seal the perimeter, then hang the head beneath and feed from above. Choose brushed stainless steel, polished stainless steel, deep grey, gold PVD or Tinta. Plate size, inlet and thread are not recorded here, so confirm them from the drawing.
