Dropping the spout from the ceiling clears the counter entirely, which is how a designer signals a washbasin as the centre of the room rather than a fixture squeezed onto a worktop. This ceiling-mounted spout delivers water from directly above the basin, leaving the surface below completely free. The AISI 316L stainless steel body is the grade specified where humidity is high or the site is coastal, because it holds against chloride and corrosion where cheaper metals pit and stain.
The spout is fed from the ceiling and drops to a position over the basin centre, so the installer must run the supply through the slab or a false ceiling before tiling. Being 316L stainless steel, it suits bathrooms where a downpour onto a splashback or a stone top needs a fitting that will not discolour over time. It is offered in brushed stainless steel, polished stainless steel, deep grey, gold PVD and Tinta, and is at its most striking in a room where the basin is the only other fitting.
