Concealed Wall Mounted Shower Valve Body

Some bathrooms hide the plumbing, and this is the part that lets them. The concealed wall mounted valve body carries the water control inside the wall, behind a finished tile line, leaving a slim plate and a control at the surface and nothing else. It is supplied without a spout, so the spout is chosen separately and can sit on a different wall, reach a longer run or be omitted where a ceiling or overhead feed is doing that work instead.

Specification and installation

This is a first fix item. It is set into the wall during the plumbing and tiling stage, so the opening position and the pipe route have to be decided before the tiler arrives, not after. Once the tile is down, only the trim and control are visible, and both can be matched to the rest of the fittings. Order a separate wall or ceiling spout to complete the run.
