A floor standing basin spout takes the water to a bowl that has no tap hole in it. The supply rises through the floor into the spout beside the basin, so a counter mounted or plinth supported bowl is not drilled at all, which is what a solid surface, a stone top or a bespoke bowl needs. The deck stays unbroken and the fitting becomes a vertical line rather than something across the counter. As a spout it is a filler, so the water is set from a separate valve. The body is AISI 316L stainless steel.
It is fixed through the finished floor beside the basin, so the position, the floor build up and the rising supply are settled before tiling, and the bowl is then set around it. The separate control can be grouped with a matching floor standing mixer or mounted under the vanity. Brushed stainless steel, polished stainless steel, deep grey, gold PVD and Tinta are offered. No height or reach is recorded, so confirm both.
