A shut-off valve earns its place on a wall by making the rest of the installation serviceable: close one branch, work on it, and leave the rest of the shower running. This half inch valve isolates a single branch of a supply, and pairs with a thermostatic mixer to give that mixer its own isolation point. It is cast in AISI 316L, the molybdenum bearing grade, which resists chloride and damp in the wet room.
The valve installs on the wall on the branch it controls, typically between the concealed body and one outlet such as a hand shower rail, so a mixer can be shut off independently. Position it where it is reachable for maintenance but out of the direct spray. It is finished in brushed stainless steel, polished stainless steel, deep grey, gold PVD or Tinta. Dimensions and any flow or pressure figures are not published, so confirm them against the supply pipework before ordering.
