Modular Shower Slide Bar

A slide bar turns a fixed hand shower into one the whole household can use. The hand shower rides the bar and stops wherever the user needs it, the difference between a shower that works for an adult and one that works for a teenager or a wheelchair user. This bar is modular, so the same section carries the hand shower today and a fixed holder tomorrow. It is AISI 316L, the molybdenum-bearing stainless grade, chosen because a rail is touched, splashed and loaded every single day.

Key features

• Hand shower travels the full length of the bar, not a fixed bracket height
• Modular section, so holders and connections can be added later
• AISI 316L, the grade for chlorinated and high humidity installations
• Nothing exposed on the wall below the bar except the hose

Specification and installation

The bar is fixed to the wall at two points and the hand shower slides into the holder on it. Set the fixing heights with the users in mind, and check the hose reaches the wall connection at the bottom of the travel. Order the hand shower and hose to match it, or take the version with its own connection. Brushed stainless steel, polished stainless steel, deep grey, gold PVD and Tinta are offered, so the rail can match the tapware.
