Where a concealed run is doing more than feeding one fitting, the isolation valve has to be built for the larger pipework. This is the three quarter inch version of the wall shut-off valve: it sits inside a service duct and lets the installer cut the feed at that point instead of at the fixture, which matters when the valve for a bath is behind a wall and a cistern is behind another. On a communal or commercial installation it is also the maintenance point, because being able to isolate one zone matters. AISI 316L stainless steel carries the body, chosen for a chase that stays damp and for the finish to sit alongside the visible fittings when a panel comes off.
Installed within the duct or riser between the incoming main and the branch it serves, positioned so a service engineer can operate it through the access panel. Order in brushed stainless steel, polished stainless steel, deep grey, gold PVD or Tinta, and dimension the access opening around it.
