Freestanding fillers need floor and waste plumbing behind them. A wall mounted bathtub set puts both the control and the outlet on the wall, which keeps the tub rim clear, the floor unbroken and the cleaning rota shorter in a hotel or a serviced apartment. This set is supplied as a pair: a wall mounted mixer and a spout the supplier describes as flexible, cast in AISI 316L stainless steel so the visible metal is the metal, not a plating over something else.
Both pieces fix to the wall, so the rough-in is two positions rather than a floor chase, and the set can be retrofitted where a filler is being replaced. Order the finish against the basin mixer and the shower fittings so the room reads as one specification. This set has no diverter, which is the right choice for a bath-only wall; add a two way version where the same mixer also feeds a shower outlet.
