Specify a mixer and a diverter apart and you are gambling that two finishes will agree on site, several weeks apart, across a bathroom that is already half tiled. This set removes the gamble. The mixer and its two way diverter are supplied together, cast in AISI 316L stainless steel, and the diverter throws the flow to a second outlet from the same control. It is the sensible way to build a wall that serves both a bath and a shower.
Both pieces are exposed wall fittings, installed and serviced from the finished face. Fix the mixer at a reachable height for the bath or shower in use, then set the diverter plate where it can be operated without crossing the room. Add the spout and, where a handset is wanted, a hose and support from the same finish, and the wall reads as a single specified run rather than a collection of parts.
