Wall Mounted Shut-Off Valve, Half Inch Connections

Isolating a single outlet is the small part of a shower installation that gets specified late and regretted early. This wall mounted shut-off valve does exactly one job: it stops the supply to one branch, on half-inch connections, without draining or isolating anything else on the run. Behind a tiled wall, where the branches cannot be reached once the finish is on, it is the component that lets an outlet be serviced later without opening the wall again. The valve is AISI 316L stainless steel, the marine grade, sitting permanently in a damp void.

Specification and installation

Fit the valve before the wall is closed up, since the branch it controls is usually behind the tiling and never revisited. Check the pipe centres will line up with the valve body when the wall finish is applied, and confirm access remains for service. Finished in brushed stainless steel, polished stainless steel, deep grey, gold PVD or Tinta.
