Where the basin is fed from the wall rather than the deck, the spout is the only fitting left in view, so it carries the room on its own. This one projects straight out of the finished wall face to meet the bowl, with the supply and the control buried behind the tiles. It is made in AISI 316L stainless steel, the molybdenum-bearing grade, which holds up to the splashing and the daily wipe down that a public washroom gets, and stands up to salty air on a coastal site.
Fit the spout while the wall is still open, then tile and grout around it, because after the face is finished the pipework behind it is gone. On a run of basins the same spout repeats along the wall and reads as a line rather than a set of fittings. Order it alongside the concealed mixer set, and pick the same finish on both, so nothing clashes once the wall is closed.
