Freestanding mixer for bathtub in satin stainless steel

A freestanding bath sat away from the wall calls for a mixer that rises from the floor rather than mounting on tile, and that is what this Nilo-collection column supplies water to. A single lever on the exposed pillar controls temperature and flow, while the mixing itself happens in a separate concealed part specified elsewhere and fitted below the floor. Tubico machines the visible column in AISI 304 stainless steel, the standard corrosion-resistant grade for a bathroom environment, rather than plated brass, so the whole height of the pillar reads as one uninterrupted material.

Specification and installation

This column has no built-in mixing valve of its own: Tubico's own documentation states it must be combined with concealed part T100004, installed below the floor before the finished floor covering goes down, with only the visible pillar and lever left proud. Specify the pillar's finish to match any other exposed Nilo fittings in the room, all manufactured in Italy.
