On a large-format wet room wall the shower head needs to clear the tile face by more than a short reach, otherwise the spray lands on the wall and runs down it. This 400 mm horizontal arm provides that standoff from a single wall fixing, and it is AISI 316L stainless steel, the corrosion-resistant grade with molybdenum in the alloy, specified wherever salt air, chlorine or constant humidity attacks a cheaper fitting from behind the plate.
Line the arm up with the spray zone and the shower drain, anchor it into solid substrate, and seal the plate against the wall. Available in brushed stainless steel, polished stainless steel, deep grey, gold PVD and Tinta, so the arm can be matched to the head and the slide bar rather than left as the one mismatched fitting. Fixing centres and thread are not recorded, so take the detail from the drawing.
