Some branches need isolating more than a handset does: the three quarter inch valve closes a heavier supply line so a mixer, a riser or a set of outlets can be worked on without draining the room. It mounts on the wall on the branch it controls and gives a clear service point in an otherwise concealed installation. Cast in AISI 316L, the molybdenum bearing grade, it resists the chloride and damp that wet rooms bring.
Fit it on the wall on the branch it shuts off, placed so it can be reached for maintenance without disturbing the tiling, and plumbed in line with the pipework it isolates. It pairs with a thermostatic mixer or a mixer set to give that zone an independent shut-off. It is finished in brushed stainless steel, polished stainless steel, deep grey, gold PVD or Tinta. Dimensions and performance figures are not published, so confirm them against the supply pipework before ordering.
